University admission and study residence are separate steps; check programme exams, language and study-gap rules.

  1. Choose a bachelor’s or school-entry single-cycle medical programme and verify the intake.
  2. Prepare certificate/grades, English translations, passport, CV and the required medical certificate.
  3. For Debrecen programmes, use STUART; complete required tests/interview and verify the year-specific deadline.
  4. After admission, check residence, financial evidence, accommodation and insurance with the university and OIF.

Costs

Example: Debrecen Computer Science costs USD 7,000/year in 2026/27; application USD 150 and entrance procedure USD 350. Budget housing and daily costs separately; 2027/28 tuition needs confirmation.

Visa and residence

OIF study residence requires an eligible study purpose and supported stay. Visa-required applicants normally apply abroad; this residence procedure includes the visa application, so a separate visa application is unnecessary.

Qualification recognition

Check the university’s foreign-qualification assessment route for further study; consult Hungarian ENIC where applicable. Georgian diploma recognition follows NCEQE rules.
