Program overview
A four-year, 240 ECTS English-taught program with a common core and majors in environmental and sustainability sciences, life sciences, governance, or culture and history.
Application route
For first-semester entry, complete the two-stage process: register with Hochschulstart and then apply through the University of Freiburg portal during the application period.
Admission requirements
- ✓ Higher-education entrance qualification
- ✓ English at CEFR B2 or higher
- ✓ Selection based on the entrance-qualification result, motivation letter and essay
- ✓ Restricted admission with 74 places; a stated quota applies to non-EU applicants
