Program overview
A fully English-taught single-cycle medical programme with integrated biomedical learning and clinical clerkships from the first year. At the Bologna campus, duration is 6 years, 12 semesters.
Application route
Register for IMAT in Universitaly and complete non-EU visa pre-enrolment. Bologna additionally requires the separate “IMAT - non-EU citizens” step in Studenti Online; enrolment and payment after admission use the same portal.
Admission requirements
- ✓ You need a secondary qualification suitable for university entry and a sufficiently high result in the English-language IMAT competition. A Georgian certificate is assessed individually; non-EU applicants living outside Italy compete in the local quota.
Required documents
- ✓ Passport/identity document and IMAT registration/payment receipt.
- ✓ School certificate, grades and required national entrance-exam evidence, with translation and authentication.
- ✓ On admission, provide Universitaly pre-enrolment and the university’s requested qualification documents.
